The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on 01/04/15 at 5:56 pm Sheriff Deputies arrested Ashley R. Shorter, age 25, of 500 Pultney St Geneva. Sheriff’s Deputies initiated a traffic stop on State Route 5 in the Town of Seneca Falls. Deputies discovered Shorter has a suspended license and was operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration.Shorter was charged with operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, aggravated unlicensed operation 2nd and operating a motor vehicle with inadequate lights and was released on appearance tickets. The vehicle was towed from the scene. Shorter is due to appear in the Town of Seneca Falls court on 02/09/15 to answer to the charges.
