On Tuesday, Penn Yan Village Police arrested Paul T. Larzelere, age 19 of Keuka Park, on charges of forgery, criminal possession of a forged instrument, and 5th degree conspiracy.Larzelere is accused of signing and depositing a fraudulent check that was written for over $2,000. He is believed to be involved with a larger group that attempted to cash other fraudulent checks in the area.Larzelere was arraigned in Penn Yan Village Court and released to appear at a later date.
