Geneva native Richard Yannotti created this short movie about the possibility that Geneva, NY is one of the towns that Bedford Falls was modeled after in the holiday classic film ‘It’s A Wonderful Life’. In posting the video below, Yannotti acknowledged that Seneca Falls has already made a valid claim to be the real Bedford Falls. However, he demonstrating that Geneva also has a valid claim to be a major contributor to the story of Bedford Falls and Pottersville. Yannotti believes Geneva fills in most of the blanks that Seneca Falls doesn’t and when put together they reinforce each other’s claim.You be the judge…
