The Waterloo Indians led by 15 points from Kyle Bailey defeated South Seneca, 59-43, in Ovid on Tuesday night. The out-of-league win moves Jeff Panek’s Waterloo varsity squad to 2-4 on the young season while Dan Lent’s Falcons fall to 2-4.Also contributing to the Indians’ win was Nick Stenberg with 13 points and Dikembe Ayers with 11 points.For South Seneca, Lincoln Bachman-Lowe had a game-high 16 points and 12 rebounds. Eric Dresser had 9 points and 10 rebounds in the losing effort.South Seneca’s next game won’t be until Wednesday, January 7th when they host Bloomfield at 7:30 pm at the Guinan Gymnasium. South Seneca will next appear on FL1 Sports on January 13th when Finger Lakes West leader Naples come to town.Waterloo will be in action next on Monday, December 29th when they host North-Rose Wolcott at 7:30 pm in another intra-league contest. The game will be part of a girls-boys doubleheader on FingerLakes1.TV beginning at 6:00 pm. Brendan Harrington, Tane Robinson and Zac Young will have the call for FL1 Sports.
