FL East Friday Night: Pal-Mac, Newark & Penn Yan roll

All eight Finger Lakes East teams were in action on Friday night with 4 of them entering the evening undefeated. All but one remain perfect on the young season at the end of the night.The Penn Yan Mustangs travelled northeast to Seneca Falls to square off against the Mynderse Blue Devils in a battle of unbeatens. After a close first half, the experienced Mustangs pulled away in the second, cruising to a 14 point victory behind 19 points from Austin Fingar.Newark took their 3-0 mark to Waterloo to face an Indians team on a two-game skid and in desperate need of a win. The Reds would win easily, behind twenty from senior point guard Tyler Collins, to improve to 4-0.The final unbeaten in action, the Pal-Mac Red Raiders, were in Geneva to face a Panthers’ team looking for their first win after capturing the Class A1 Sectional Championship last season.
