Tuesday W-FL Hoops: Lyons, Clyde suffer first loss

With Lyons’ starting point guard Damon Hunter out of the lineup with the flu, RonDerrick Morris and his Sodus Spartans took full advantage of the situation edging the shorthanded Lions 54-44 on Tuesday night. Another early unbeaten, Clyde-Savannah, lost at home to East Rochester while North Rose-Wolcott and Gananda notched wins in what is shaping up to be a wide-open race in the Wayne County League this season. In other action, Mynderse defeated Honeoye in an east/west crossover game in Seneca Falls. Wayne dropped to 0-3 losing to School of the Arts, and Dundee bounced back from their loss to Naples with a 19 point win over South Seneca.
