On December 12th at about 6:15 pm, the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit arrested Joshua B. Anderson, age 33, and Valerie A. Randall, age 39, both of 7419 Wyers Point Road in Ovid, following an investigation. Sheriff’s Investigators received complaints that Anderson and Randall were growing marijuana inside their apartment and allowing children to be within close proximity to some of the plants.The investigation led to the seizure of the marijuana plants and a quantity of dried marijuana.Anderson and Randall were each charged with Unlawfully Dealing with a Child in the First Degree (two counts), Unlawful Growing of Cannabis, and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.Anderson and Randall were released on appearance tickets and are to appear in the Ovid Town Court on January 6, 2015 at 10 am.
