On Sunday at 3:04 am, the Waterloo Village Police Department arrested Shawn M. Standbrook, age 29 of 1 Center Street in Waterloo, for endangering the welfare of a child (3 counts) and harassment 2nd degree. Standbrook allegedly got into an argument with a village resident and hit the resident that he was arguing with in the face while one of the kids was sitting with the victim. Two other children were in the same room and were awakened by Standbrook yelling and screaming.Standbrook was arraigned in the Waterloo Village court and was released on his own recognizance. An order of protection was issued for the victim and the 3 kids.
