Seneca County Sheriff’s Investigators arrested Jacob A. Hubbs, age 18 of 9 Brook Street in Geneva on Friday. Hubbs was charged with grand larceny 4th, a class E Felony, and possession of stolen property 4th, a class E Felony.The charges stem from Hubbs stealing numerous long guns and ammunition from a vehicle in the Town of Waterloo and possessing the guns at a residence in the Town of Waterloo. The guns and ammunition have been recovered.Hubbs was arrested at the Seneca County Law Enforcement Center and then arraigned in Waterloo Town Court where he was released to appear at a later date.The investigation stems from an active investigation into several vehicle break-ins in Seneca County.
