Local HS hoops season kicks off at NYCC on Saturday

New York Chiropractic College is happy to announce that the Standard Process Health and Fitness Center on NYCC’s Seneca Falls campus will host a boys basketball double-header on Saturday, November 29 to tip-off the 2014-15 basketball season.The event will begin at 5:30 PM as the Lyons Lions face off against the Southern Cayuga Chiefs. The second game will feature the Mynderse Academy Blue Devils versus the South Seneca Falcons at 7:30 PM. Admission is five dollars with children aged 12 and under admitted for free. The event will also be webcast in HD on Fingerlakes1.TV and YouTube. “New York State is allowing a 19th game, and teams are looking for a neutral site to play,” says NYCC’s Director of Health and Fitness, Rhett Ticconi. “I’m thrilled to be bringing basketball back to NYCC’s Health and Fitness Center and hope this will grow into an annual event that will include a number of additional boys’ and girls’ teams.”
