Sheriff David Gould reports the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary and criminal mischief which occurred sometime over the past several weeks along Fire Ln. 27 in the Town of Scipio.Unknown person(s) fired shots from a large bore firearm into a pontoon boat striking it multiple times in the both the hull and outboard motor. Unknown person(s) also forced entry to a nearby cottage. Nothing has been reported missing from the cottage at this time.
