Sonnenberg Gardens & Mansion State Historic Park held its Annual Volunteer Recognition Dinner on November 2nd. At the event, Sonnenberg Gardens recognized these volunteers for their many hours of generous service. During the 2014 season, 250 people volunteered at Sonnenberg and shared over 22,000 hours. It is through their generosity and commitment that Sonnenberg’s legacy is kept alive in the Canandaigua community.Sonnenberg Gardens was please to recognize Judy Smith as the Volunteer of the Year for 2014. Judy has been volunteering time at Sonnenberg for 18 years. She is a retired Board of Trustees member and actively chairs the Event Committee as well as multiple events each year. Sonnenberg is also happy to recognize new volunteers, returning volunteers, and the many volunteers who shared in excess of 100 hours. Sonnenberg Gardens extends a heart-felt “thank you” to all its dedicated volunteers.
