SFPD arrests pair of Walmart shoplifters after they flee

On 10/25/2014 at about 4:26 pm, the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Tiffany A. Gushlaw, age 26, of 25 Peterman Road apt. A3 Seneca Falls, New York and Jennifer F. Orlopp, age 28, of 108 Main Street in Phelps.Seneca Falls Police received a report of a larceny at WalMart and that the female subjects just left the property in a tan vehicle heading toward the downtown area. Seneca Falls Police observed the tan vehicle in the area of Fall Street and Clinton Street. Seneca Falls Police stopped the tan vehicle on Fall Street in the area of the Ovid Street Bridge.Police arrested the following two subjects: Tiffany A. Gushlaw, age 26 of 25 Peterman Road in Seneca Falls, for Petit Larceny and Criminal Possession of a Control Substance in the 7th degree. Jennifer F. Orlopp, age 28 of 108 Main Street in Phelps, for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 5th degree and Criminal Possession of a Control Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree. Both were released on appearance tickets and are to appear in the Town of Seneca Falls Court on 11/03/2014 at 6:00pm. The Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance charges comes from both Gushlaw and Orlopp having heroin in their purse. The Seneca County Sheriffs Departments K9 unit assisted Seneca Falls Police in a search of the vehicle.
