The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports, on Thursday at approximately 6:00PM the Seneca County 911 Center received multiple complaints of an erratic vehicle traveling Northbound on State Route 89. The suspected vehicle was located on Route 89 in the Town of Fayette and a traffic stop was initiated. The driver, Sierra Maricle, of Lansing, was issued UTT’s for Failure to Keep Right and Operating Out of Class.Upon further investigation, Larry Walrad of Newark was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. It is alleged that Walrad possessed approximately 10 freshly harvested marijuana plants. Future charges are likely, pending a lab analysis and after a weight is determined.Walrad and Maricle are both scheduled to appear at the Town of Fayette Court on 12/17/14 at 7:00 pm to answer the charges.
