The Seneca County Sheriff Office reports on Tuesday at approximately 1:11 pm, Sheriff Deputies responded to a two car personal injury motor vehicle accident on Grange Hall Road in the Town of Junius. A Chevy truck operated by Edward L. Franklin, age 80 of W. Townline Road in Phelps, made a left turn into a Pontiac Grand Prix being operated by Amber C. Landschoot, age 21 of Griffith Road in Phelps. Landschoot was Southbound on Grange Hall Rd and had the right of way. Franklin had a passenger in his vehicle Paul D. Rosenthal, age 62 of Grange Hall Road in Phelps.Rosenthal was transported to Geneva General Hospital by North Seneca Ambulance for chest pain, Franklin had a minor cut on his left hand and was going to be taken by car to see his doctor.Franklin was issued a citation for Fail to yield right of way.Also assisting at the scene was the Junius Fire Dept.
