Around 2:10 pm on Monday, Keith D Nichols, age 32 of Baker Hill in Watkins Glen, was arrested and charged with Penal Law 170.25 possessing a forged instrument 2nd a class D Felony, Penal law 270.25 Unlawful fleeing a police officer 3rd, vehicle and traffic law 511(1a) aggravated unlicensed operator 3rd, V&T law 1212 reckless driving, V&T law 402(1) dirty license plate, V&T 402(4) improper plate, V&T 410(1) unregistered motorcycle, V&T 375(35c) unsafe tire, V&T 306(b) uninspected motor vehicle, V&T 1144(a) fail to yield the right of way to an emergency vehicle, and V&T 1180(b) Speed in zone.The plethora of charges came after Nichols fled from Deputies on Cronk Road in the Town of Dix.Nichols was arraigned in the Town of Reading Court and remanded to jail in lieu of $7,500 Cash $15,000 Bond.
