The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports, On Friday at approximately 6:30 pm, Deputies arrested Craig Polizzotto, age 46 of County Road 139 in Ovid. Polizzotto was charged with Harassment 2nd and Disorderly Conduct.Deputies were at Polizzotto’s residence investigating a domestic dispute when he became belligerent. Polizzotto was using obscene language in a public place and also verbally threatened to shoot police officers. Polizzotto was arraigned at the Town of Ovid Court where he was committed to the custody of the Sheriff in lieu of $500/$1,000 bond. He is scheduled to re-appear on Wednesday at 10:00 am.Deputies were assisted at the scene by the NYS Police.
