Waterloo man defecated in back seat of patrol car

On October 6th at approximately 9:54 pm, Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Kenneth E. Hurd of 393 Wagner St. Lot 95 in Waterloo. Hurd was charged with two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child and two counts of Harassment in the 2nd degree.It is alleged that Hurd struck a 16-year-old male and then bit him on the rib cage. Hurd then struck another female who was attempting to stop the altercation. There was also a 15-year-old female present during the incident.Hurd was then transported to the Town of Waterloo Court where he was arraigned on the above charges.After the initial arraignment, Hurd was charged with one count of Criminal Tampering 3rd. It is alleged that while in police custody he intentionally defecated and urinated in the rear of a Seneca County Sheriff’s Office patrol vehicle. He was committed to the custody of the Sheriff in lieu of $3,000 cash, $5,000 secured bond and appeared in court on October 9th.
