On Sunday afternoon, Penn Yan police arrested Joshua T. Robinson, age 31 of Eagle Lane in Penn Yan. He was charged with two counts of harassment, 2nd degree. The charges are a result of an incident in which Robinson threatened two Penn Yan police officers.Police were dispatched to Meadow Side Apartments for a call of children who were alleged to have damaged property. When officers arrived, Robinson threatened to harm the person that called 911 to report the vandalism.Robinson then threatened to “knock out” an officer as he approached him. At that time officers displayed their tasers and Robnson was arrested.He is scheduled to appear in Penn Yan Village Court on 10/20/14.
