The Mynderse Academy varsity football team crossed the eastern border of Ontario County to face Midlakes on Friday night and came back home without scoring a point as the Screaming Eagles blanked the Blue Devils en route to a 19-0 win.Joe Newland carried much of the load for Midlakes with 161 yards on 28 carries and a touchdown. Jordan Miller and Robert Middlebrook also found the endzone to round out the scoring for the Eagles.Scott Kline ran for 125 yards to lead Mynderse who falls to 2-3 on the season with the loss. The Blue Devils will host Lyons next Friday night.Midlakes improves to 2-3 with the win and will travel to face Clyde-Savannah on Friday night as they try to even their record for the season.
