Multiple petit larceny arrests in Seneca Falls

It seems that there has been an increase in petit larceny charges and small time shoplifting in Seneca County over the past several months. Just this week alone, thee individuals were arrested and charged with petit larceny…On September 25th, 2014 at 10:39 pm the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Sarah L. Bell, age 24, of 207 Malone Village, Auburn, NY for a warrant that was issued out of the Town of Seneca Falls Court. Bell was arrested for violating a conditional discharge after she was originally charged with Petit Larceny in 2013. Bell was arraigned in the Town of Seneca Falls Court in front of Honorable Judge Laquidari. Judge Laquidari released Bell on her own recognizance and she is scheduled to re-appear in court on October 2nd, 2014 at 6:00 pm. On September 25th, 2014 at 6:31 pm the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Joyce A. Thompson, age 31, of 280 Fall Street, Seneca Falls. Thompson is accused of stealing items from a local business, passing all points of sale without any attempt at rendering payment for the items in her possession. Thompson was charged with one count of Petit Larceny, a class A misdemeanor and released on an appearance ticket. Thompson is scheduled to appear in the Town of Seneca Falls Court in front of Honorable Judge Laquidari on 10/13/2014 at 6:00 pm. On 09/24/2014 at approx. 1515hrs, the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Dakota White, age 19, of Peterman Road Seneca Falls, NY and a 17 year old male, whose name is being withheld due to possible youthful offender status, for Petit Larceny. Both White and the 17 year old male are accused of stealing merchandise from a Town of Seneca Falls business in the amount of $49.06. Both were released on appearance tickets to appear in the Town of Seneca Falls Court on 10/06/2014 at 1800hrs.
