Fabulous first day of Fall in the FLX

While the weather has certainly felt like fall for the past couple of weeks, the calendar marks today as the first full day of fall with the equinox occurring at 10:29pm last night. Our weather today will be much improved from yesterday and will make for a great first day of Autumn.High pressure over the Ohio Valley has a firm grip on our weather. Skies cleared out overnight, allowing low temperatures in the upper 30s and low 40s this morning. However, with bright sunshine and a push of slightly warmer air coming into the area, temperatures should rebound nicely with highs in the mid and upper 60s.Wednesday will be even nicer, with more sun and highs pushing into the low and mid 70s. Thursday has some question marks, especially for the eastern Finger Lakes as a storm system moves up the east coast. Some clouds, and maybe even a shower or two, may work into the area from this system.Beyond Thursday, our weather looks like it will stay sunny and mild through the weekend. For the latest local forecast, conditions, and live radar images visit the FingerLakes1.com Local Weather Center.
