On Monday afternoon Penn Yan police arrested Kailey N. Jensen, age 24 of Cornwell Street in Penn Yan, and charged her with forgery 2nd degree and criminal possession of a forged instrument.Jensen was arrested after an ongoing investigation into stolen checks in the Village of Penn Yan and Yates County.The latest charged stem from a forged check that Jensen allegedly presented at Lake’s Gas.Jensen was arraigned in Penn Yan Village Court and was remanded back to the Yates County Jail in a continuation of the previous $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.
