National clock tower expert to speak in Seneca Falls

On Tuesday night the Seneca Falls Historical Society will host Russ Oechsle, President of NAWCC National Tower Clock Chapter, speaking about the Marshall Adams clocks made in Seneca Falls. The program will start at 7:00 pm at the Historical Society but if you have a clock of photo of a clock you would like Mr. Oechlse to look at he will be available at 6:00 pm to answer questions.The Historical Society has two Marshall Adams clocks as well as portraits of Chauncey and Mary Marshall that arrived early last spring. The program is free and open to the public – come and learn about one of the other industries in Seneca Falls.The “Chance od a Life Time” Character Raffle will be drawn on Saturday September 27, Smithsonian Day at the Museum. So if you have ever wanted to be a Pinkerton Agent in a new historical novel set in the 1860s of Seneca Falls and Waterloo you still have time to buy a chance. There will be two winners. The chances are one for $10 and Three for $25 and they are available at the Historical Society .
