On Monday at 5:00 pm, Penn Yan Police arrested Kailey N. Jensen, age 23 of Cornwell Street in Penn Yan, and charged her with 2 counts of forgery (2nd degree), 3 counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument (2nd degree), and one count of conspiracy (5th degree).Jensen was arrested as part of an ongoing investigation between the Penn Yan Police Department and the Yates County Sheriff’s Office.The current charges are new and additional charges from incidents within the Village of Penn Yan where Jensen forged and passed checks.Jensen was arraigned in Penn Yan Village Court and remanded to the Yates County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond.
