Spirit of Schuyler Annual “Gathering”

A local non-profit organization, Spirit of Schuyler, will host their annual “Gathering” on Saturday, September 20th from 2:00-6:00PM at the Hidden Valley Lodge in Watkins Glen. As the largest fundraiser for Spirit of Schuyler, this event will boast over 100 prizes, including a flatscreen tv and other large ticket items. The event includes food and beverages, live music, and an opportunity to support a local organization funded entirely by fundraisers such as the Gathering. The Spirit of Schuyler volunteers are expecting hundreds of attendees and have added significant enhancements to this year’s agenda. “As the event continues to grow, we have to keep up and keep things new and exciting for attendees. This year we’ve received tremendous community support in the form of merchandise donations and have added some great, new additions not only to the prize-lineup but to the activities of the event. If you’ve been to the Gathering before, you can expect even more this year; but most importantly, you can be proud of the impact you’re having on our local community,” says Beth Vickio, Vice-President of Spirit of Schuyler. Spirit of Schuyler is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life and expanding meaningful opportunities for Schuyler County residents in times of need. The organization focuses on providing emergency financial assistance to residents who fight for their financial independence, support themselves and their families, and are self-sustaining until unforeseen circumstances occur.
