The Waterloo Police Department investigated a personal injury motor vehicle accident on Wednesday. The accident occurred on East Main Street at about 4:25 pm. Melody Reynolds, age 40, of 5585 Rt 96, Romulus was operating a motorcycle west bound on East Main Street when a Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck, operated by Theodore Young of 32 E. Wright Ave. in Waterloo turned left across her lane. While swerving to avoid Young’s vehicle, Reynolds laid the motorcycle down on its side. Reynolds was then ejected from the motorcycle and slid approximately 40 feet down on the pavement.North Seneca Ambulance responded and turned Reynolds over to Lifenet who flew Reynolds to Strong Memorial Hospital.The investigation into the MVA is still ongoing.
