If you love seasonal walks and bike rides along your regional trails, the chance to share your ideas for improvement is right around the corner. The Genesee Transportation Council Genesee-Finger Lakes Regional Trails Initiative is providing two opportunities to gain valuable information and to gain feedback. The first of two open houses will take place on Monday, Sept. 8 from 6 pm- 8 pm at the Ontario County Safety Training Facility, 2914 Rd. 48 in Canandaigua. The second open house will take place at the Richmond Memorial Library, located at 19 Ross St. in Batavia, on Thursday, Sept. 11 from 6 pm- 8 pm.Both meetings will be in an open house format and will review the same material. This is your chance to share your ideas, challenges, and opportunities for your regional trail network. The open house will be a drop-in with multiple stations for participants to become acquainted with the project purpose, review information, complete a survey and use an interactive mapping tool to leave comments. For more information, visit www.regionaltrailsupdate.org or contact Robert Torzynski, program manager, at [email protected] or by phone at (585) 232-6240.
