On Tuesday, Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested William G. McGilroy, age 33, of 8671 Lodi-Covert Townline Road in Interlaken, for Menacing in the Third Degree, Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree, and Endangering The Welfare Of A Child. It is alleged that McGilroy was involved in a domestic dispute with a Town of Covert female, where he intentionally damaged property and then turned in the direction of a female with a knife and threatened to cut her while in the presence of two children under the age of seventeen.McGilroy was arraigned in Varick Town Court by Judge Ettman and was ROR’d, and is to reappear in front of Judge Schmidt in the Covert Town Court on September 15th, 2014 at 10:00am.
