The Finger Lakes region is set up for another soggy time as areas of low pressure and high pressure do battle to take control of our weather. The low will win out, but the stubborn high will not give up its ground easily, meaning the low pressure- and its rain- will be sticking around for a few days.Showers and thunderstorms early this morning over Ohio and western Pennsylvania will weaken and die out as they move east this morning. However, they will redevelop this afternoon over our area, fueled by some breaks of morning sun.Severe weather is not going to be an issue with this storms, but some of them could have some locally heavy rain.Thunderstorms should move east and fall apart this evening, but a few showers will remain possible overnight and into tomorrow morning. More afternoon showers and storms are likely tomorrow, along with a few showers on Friday. The good news is that the low should depart by Saturday, leaving us with a pleasant weekend! For the latest local forecast, conditions, and live radar images visit the FingerLakes1.com Local Weather Center.
