Ovid man attempts to hit female with car

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Tuesday at about 1:30 pm deputies arrested Brandon D. Casey, age 20 of 2134 Water Street in Ovid, on the charges of Menacing 3rd Degree and Reckless Endangerment 2nd Degree. The arrest stems from an incident in the Town of Ovid where Casey attempted to strike a female with a vehicle.Casey was arraigned in the Town of Covert Court Justice Schmidt and remanded to Jail on $500 cash bail. There were 2 full stay away orders of protection issued. Casey is to return to the Town of Ovid Court on 8/19/14 at 10:00 am.
