On August 7, 2014, at about 4:17 pm, the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office responded to a personal injury car/pedestrian accident on the grounds of Empire Farm Days in the Town of Seneca Falls.A vehicle being operated by Eric N. Jensen, 44, of 359 Cottrell Road, Waterloo, New York, was towing a utility trailer and was turning in a field in an attempt to park. Jensen failed to observe that a pedestrian was too close to the trailer and the pedestrian was struck.The pedestrian, Timothy M. Patchen, 24, of 1725 County House Road, Waterloo, New York, suffered a lower leg injury and was transported to Geneva General Hospital by North Seneca Ambulance. There was no damage caused to the vehicle or trailer.
