Seneca County Sheriff’s Investigators arrested two subjects after an investigation into eavesdropping in the Village of Waterloo. Fern E Batson-Cronin, age 40, of Franklin Street in Auburn, and Michael R. Cronin, age 30 of West Main Street Waterloo, were arrested on August 5th 2014 in the City of Auburn. Batson-Cronin and Cronin were each charged with one count of Eavesdropping, a class E felony. The charges stem from an incident in the Village of Waterloo where the subjects secretly audio recorded a meeting they were not present at.Both subjects were issued appearance tickets and released to appear in the Village of Waterloo court on August 27th 2014 at 9:00 am to answer the charges.
