Similarly to yesterday, there is a very small chance of a shower or thunderstorm during the day today, especially in the afternoon. This chance will be in reaction to a small disturbance passing through as the jet stream lifts northeast and departs our region. The vast majority of the region will likely stay rain free today. In fact, I would not be at all surprised if no one in the Finger Lakes sees any rain.High pressure will build in from the northwest tomorrow. With a stalled front over the South, there will be nothing to move north and displace the high. As a result, it should dominate our weather through the weekend and into the middle of next week.Until rain returns to the forecast next Wednesday, we should enjoy ample sunshine and seasonable temperatures, neither of which have been in abundance lately. Expect highs in the 70s to maybe low 80s over the next few days. For the latest local forecast, conditions, and live radar images visit the FingerLakes1.com Local Weather Center.
