Seneca Falls woman charged with growing pot

On August 1st, 2014 at 12:30 pm the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Alisha T. Simmons, age 32 of 25 Peterman Road in Seneca Falls, following a home visit from Seneca County Probation Officers. Simmons was charged with one count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4th Degree (misdemeanor), one count of Unlawfully Growing Cannabis (misdemeanor), and one count of Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.Simmons was arraigned in the Village of Waterloo Village Court and remanded to Seneca County Correctional Facility on $3,000 cash bail/ $6,000 secure bond. Simmons is to re-appear in the Town of Seneca Falls Town Court on August 13th, 2014 at 9:00am. Simmons was also arraigned on a Probation Violation and was committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on no bail.
