Seneca Community Players celebrated our 42nd year of quality amateur theatre in the Finger Lakes. Now we are setting our sights on Season 43, and we are inviting you to “Come Play with Us”. Whether you have directed for us in the past or if this is the first time for you to bring your talents to the SCP stage we welcome your proposals. Even if you have never directed before but there is a show you’ve been itching to bring to the stage there is a place for you in the SCP family.Proposals for dramatic, comedic and musical productions are being accepted by the SCP Season Planning Committee. Our 2015 Season will offer a production in each of three time slots; spring (February-May), summer (June -August) and fall (September-November). We will also consider proposals for a “Young Players” production in addition to the regular season during the summer time slot. While you may choose any date within your proposed time slot all proposals must include two consecutive weekends in your production dates. If you are interested in submitting a proposal for any of these time slots please complete the Proposal form below or located on the forms/policies tab of our website at www.senecacommunityplayers.org. Please fill out the form as completely as possible and submit it with a copy of your proposed script to Seneca Community Players Season Planning PO Box 45, Seneca Falls, NY 13148. Proposals may also be submitted electronically to our Season Planning Committee at info@senecacommunityplayers.org. All proposals must be submitted no later than September 30, 2014 for consideration. Proposals will be reviewed by the SCP Season Planning Committee and potential directors may be asked to attend a meeting of the SCP Board of Directors meeting to discuss your proposal prior to its acceptance. Director’s whose proposals have been accepted will be notified following the Board of Directors meeting in November. The SCP 2015 season will be announced in January. Directors will be asked to have their poster artwork completed and approved by January 1, 2015 in order to have it included in season advertising.
