Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports, on July 20th at 6:33 pm Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Joseph M. Johndrew, age 20 of 6961 State Route 89 in Ovid, with Unlawful Fleeing a Police Officer in the Third Degree, Operating out of Class, Unregistered Motorcycle, Uninspected Motorcycle, Uninsured Motor Vehicle, Speed in Zone, Fail to Keep Right, Unsafe Passing, and Reckless Driving.Sheriff’s Deputies report that Johndrew was operating an unregistered motorcycle on West Seneca Street in the Town of Lodi. When Sheriff’s Deputies attempted to stop Johndrew, he fled on the motorcycle leading Sheriff’s Deputies on a pursuit on Lodi Station Road and into the Lodi Cemetery. While in the cemetery, Johndrew lost control of the motorcycle but was not injured.Johndrew was released on appearance tickets and is to appear at the Lodi Town Court on August 13th, 2014 at 10:00 am to answer the charges.
