Champions for Life Sports Center in Auburn will host both girls & boys lacrosse clinics at Everest Park. (5343 North Rd, Auburn) Emphasis will be placed on stick work, game concepts & position specific techniques that will allow the players to develop the abilities necessary to play at a high level. Tuesday, July 22nd, (SU Women’s Assistant Coach) Regy Thorpe will be conducting a clinic for girls grades 3 – 12 from 9:30am – 11:30amSaturday, August 2nd, (West Point Head Coach) Joe Alberici, (Holy Cross Head Coach) Judd Lattimore, (Brockport Head Coach) Ben Wineburg, (Cayuga Community College Head Coach) JT Pitcher, (Onondaga Community College Assistant Coach) Mike Villano & (Onondaga Community College Assistant Coach) Joe Villano will be conducting a clinic for boys grades 1st – 6th from (9am – 10:30am) & grades 7th – 12th (11am – 1pm)Clinics are $15.00 per person and include a t-shirt if registered 1 week before the clinic, registration will continue up to the day of the clinic. All clinics finish with character/virtue training led by one of the coaches.Proceeds from the clinics help support the Brian Bisgrove Home of Courage & further development of Everest Park. The Brian Bisgrove Home of Courage is a retreat and respite home for families with children who have life-altering illnesses or conditions. Through the generosity of others, children and their families are invited into the beautiful log cabin at Everest Park for a 3-4 day stay of rest and repose, all free of charge. Brian’s home provides medically fragile children and their families a place to let go of anxiety & stress, and focus on growing faith & family unity.We have assembled a great staff of college lacrosse coaches for our clinics, which will help us to raise awareness & support for the Brian Bisgrove Home of Courage & further development of Everest Park .
