On Monday afternoon at 1:59 pm, Penn Yan police arrested Jerome D. Scott, no known address, and charged him with petit larceny.It is alleged that Scott took a bottle of an alcoholic beverage from a display at Byrne Dairy and left the store without paying for it. Scott was located a short time later on Lake Street and issued an appearance ticket to appear in Penn Yan Village Court.
