Geneva man charged after two accidents in Waterloo

On Saturday, June 28th, 2014 at about 9:46 PM, the Waterloo Police Department responded and investigated two property damage accidents involving the same vehicle in two different locations in the Village.The first accident occurred at Elizabeth Crossing, 41 Church Street, in Waterloo following a verbal altercation with a resident at the complex. The driver backed into another vehicle that was parked and almost struck a resident who was standing in the parking lot while leaving the scene of the accident.The second accident occurred at 102 East Elizabeth Street where the vehicle struck a house after the driver was ejected. The driver was able to get back into his car and leave the scene before police arrived.After further investigation into the incident Dylan C. Slack, age 21 of 518 Yale Station Road in Geneva, was arrested on Thursday, July 3rd, 2014 at about 4:23 PM. He wascharged with 1 count of reckless endangerment, 2 counts of leaving the scene of a property damage accident, 2 counts of unsafe backing, unsafe movement of a stopped motor vehicle, speed not reasonable and prudent and reckless driving.Slack was arraigned in the Village of Waterloo Court and held in the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $1500.00 bail. He is to return at a later date to answer to the charges.
