Sheriff David Gould reports the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the forcible entry of a residence on Day Rd. in the Town of Brutus. Sometime on Monday, between the hours of 7:30 am and 5:00 pm unknown persons forced entry to the home and stole several hundred dollars in change, 2 laptop computers and 2 pellet rifles.Anyone with information concerning this investigation is asked to contact Detective Brian Schenck at (315) 253-3545.
