The Waterloo Library and Historical Society will be hosting a Free Family Fun Carnival on July 12th, 2014 from 11 am- 2pm on the Library grounds at 31 E. Williams Street in Waterloo. Bring the whole family and enjoy an old time family friendly summer experience full of games, crafts and prizes. All are welcome to attend our Summer Reading Kick-off Event!”Fizz, Boom, Read” Summer Reading is for children 2 years old through 5th grade and will incorporate age appropriate science based activities in conjunction with books read aloud. Teen and Tweens are invited to “Survive the Zombie Apocolypse” and even Adults will have monthly book conversations! Sign-Ups for these programs are available at the circulation desk, attendance to every program is not mandatory. The Library will also be hosting a Magic Show on July 31st at 1pm.
