The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Saturday at approximately 9:04 am, Sheriff Deputies arrested Joshua E. Donahue (aka Joshua Buisch), age 27, of 31 King St Trumansburg, NY for Criminal Mischief 2nd degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, Reckless Endangerment 2nd degree, Unlawfully Fleeing a Police Officer and several traffic citations. This arrest stems off of a Police Pursuit that began in Schuyler County and ended in the Town of Lodi in Seneca County. Deputies report Donahue has numerous active warrants for his arrest from surrounding counties, and failed to stop for a Schuyler County Deputy – coming into Seneca County where he continued to attempt to evade law enforcement, driving recklessly and at a high rate of speed. Donahue deliberately drove off the road and cut through fields, causing damage to crops and fences. Donahue left the vehicle in a wooded area in a field on Fox Rd in Lodi and fled on foot but was apprehended by Deputies . Schuyler and Seneca County Deputies were assisted at the scene by the NYSP and the Seneca County K-9 unit. Donahue was arraigned in the Town of Lodi Court in front of Judge Van Cleef. Donahue was committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000 cash / $20,000 secured bond. Donahue is due back in the Town of Lodi Court July 2, 2014 at 1030 hrs to answer to the charges.
