Motorcycle crash near Sheldrake Point

On the 22nd of June 2014 around 12:06 am, The Seneca County Sheriffs Deputies responded to the area of County Road 139 just west of Sheldrake Point for a 1 vehicle personal injury motorcycle accident.Deputies investigation revealed that the motorcycle operator, Timothy J. Haire 31 of 4004 Sheldrake Park Ovid NY was operating the 2005 Suzuki motorcycle at a high rate of speed heading westbound on County Road 139. Haire had lost control of his motorcycle, veering into the ditch on the north side of the road and striking a road sign. Haire was thrown from the motorcycle. Haire was transported to Cayuga Medical Center by Ambulance where he is being treated for possible broken extremities. Deputies report the investigation is continuin .
