Bob Oaks Night at Colburn Park on Friday

Assemblyman Bob Oaks is extending an invitation to all area residents, their families and friends to be his guests at the Newark Pilots baseball game Friday, July 11 for Bob Oaks Night when the Pilots take on the Utica Brewers. All are encouraged to come out and show their support for the Pilots. The gates open at 6 p.m. with the first pitch thrown out at 7:05 p.m. Rain date will be July 14. “I am excited to support the Newark Pilots in their fourth season,” Assemblyman Oaks said. ” Owner Bob Ohmann brought competitive summer baseball back to our area, with a team in the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League. Our baseball nights in 2011, 2012 and 2013 were some of the best attended games at Colburn Park. The events are a lot of fun — and the baseball is exciting. I look forward to seeing everyone at the park on July 11.”Free tickets to the game are available to everyone. You can RSVP by email at [email protected]. Reserved tickets may be picked up the night of the game at Assemblyman Oaks’ table at the gate. There will be plenty of free tickets available at the gate, even if you don’t have a chance to make a reservation.
