The Seneca County Chamber of Commerce has announced that it will host a Ribbon Cutting Event to celebrate the Grand Opening of Seneca Falls’ newest operating business – The Sequestered Tavern. The event will take place on Friday, June 27 with the Chamber’s official ribbon cutting occurring at 3 pm. A short presentation will include photo opportunities, brief remarks, light refreshments and be followed by property tours. The restaurant will be open from 11 am – 10 pm and will offer various food and drink specials throughout the day featuring local products, seasonal ingredients and local beers and wines.Located at 6-8 Ovid Street in Seneca Falls, The Sequestered Tavern is in the former Bull’s Run Grille & Alehouse building. The name derives from the adjective describing something isolated or hidden away, as the bar is absent of a front entrance, located off the beaten path, along the historic Cayuga-Seneca Canal. The name is also related to co-owner’s Joseph Sapio Esq. and Heather Caward both having a background in law. Normal business hours are Mon – Thur: 11:00 am – 10:00 pm in the restaurant with bar services until 1:00 am, Fri – Sat: 11:00 am – 10:00 pm with bar services extending until 2am, and Sun: 11:00 am – 8:00 pm.For more information, please call (315) 712-4345 or visit The Sequestered Tavern on Facebook.
