High pressure has been dominating our weather since the middle of last week. We have had a nice stretch of dry, generally seasonable and less humid weather since. However, that high pressure has now moved to our east, placing back in the southerly flow on its back side. This will mean a slight boost in temperature today, with most of the region in the low and mid 80s.More noticeable, however, will be an increase in humidity. The humidity will not be oppressive today, but it will definitely feel more muggy than it has recently.Along with the heat and humidity, there is a small chance of an isolated shower or storm this afternoon. Most of the region should stay dry though. There is a much better chance for rain tomorrow as a disturbance moves across the Great Lakes. The potential for a few stronger storms exists tomorrow, especially if the sun is out during the first half of the day. Strong winds will be the primary threat, but they should not be as widespread as they were last Tuesday. Still, check back tomorrow morning to see what the latest forecast shows. For the latest local forecast, conditions, and live radar images visit the FingerLakes1.com Local Weather Center.
