Our weather over the last two weeks has been quite active. I think it is time for a break of quiet, normal weather. It looks like the weather is going to be granting that request.High pressure will build in from the northwest today. This will keep a disturbance from spreading rain too far north into New York this morning. The western 2/3rds of the Southern Tier stands the best chance at seeing some rain this morning.Any rain will move out by the afternoon. Morning clouds and fog will be replaced with partly sunny to mostly clear skies. No other rain is expected today, or for the rest of this week or the weekend for that matter! We may not see any more rain until Monday night or Tuesday at the soonest. Not only will it finally be sunny for an extended period of time, but the temperatures will be nice as well. Today will be right around average, with highs in the mid to upper 70s. Tomorrow will be a bit cooler as the high pressure settles in with highs around or just above 70º.Temperatures will slowly climb after that, with 70s remaining in place for the weekend and into early next week.
