Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Sunday at around 2:00 pm, deputies investigated a personal injury motor vehicle accident on State Route 96 north of Brokaw Road in the Town of Romulus.A motor vehicle driven by Eugenia M. Srmack, age 81 of 6975 St Rt 96 in Ovid, was traveling northbound on Route 96 when she lost control of the motor vehicle. Srmack’s vehicle drifted off the roadway into the ditch line on the east side of the road.Srmack was treated at the scene for cuts on both hands by South Seneca Ambulance. Srmack signed off for any further medical treatment. Also assisting at the scene was the Romulus Fire Dept. and New York State Police. Cause of the accident is still under investigation.
