On June 28, 2014 at Lafayette Park the Waterloo Library and Historical Society will be hosting a Chicken Barbecue to benefit the National Memorial Day Museum’s Capital Campaign. The barbecue is being catered by K & R catering and starts at 11:00AM. Tickets are $9.00 and can be purchased pre-sale at the Library, 31 East Williams St., Nugent Hardware, 5 West Main Street or from any board member. The funds raised will help to restore and repair the roof, gutters ironwork and porch on the National Memorial Day Museum which is in the historic William H.
